Leadership Meetings The Willow River Rod and Gun Club is member-run organization. It is important that members have their concerns addressed and have opportunities to offer helpful solution to club issues. Club meetings are conducted on the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the club house and are open to any current member. All club members present at the club meeting may vote and provide input into discussions. Club meetings are informal, but are conducted using Robert’s Rules of Order. At the beginning of each year, the club holds the Annual Meeting. Members are encouraged to attend this meeting. Changes in club policy and procedures can be made by the membership at this time. In addition, open board positions hold elections during this meeting. The annual meeting is also the best time to renew your membership, receive the new gate code, and help create goals for the success of the club in the New Year. Leadership The club holds elections for open board positions each year to identify who will serve on the Willow River Rod and Gun Club Board. These individuals must be members in good standing, willing to volunteer time and remain accessible. Board positions are elected, volunteer positions. The term of each board member is three years.
